Eagle Soccer Booster Club Meeting - 8/13/24 at 6PM

All board members and the three coaches remained in attendance. There was a nice crowd of parents.

Introduction of the booster club board and coaches.

Overview from coaches on the tryout process

• A week to week and a half for tryouts and players will be notified via player meetings.
• Coach D hopes to have around 20 girls on each team. 
• Coach Ramirez said boys will have approximately 20 per team/60ish total. He asked parents to remind their students not to let their talent speak more than their character. 
• Coaches have a tight try-out schedule because they want players to have time to change class schedules. After tryouts kids will make class…in November tryouts will reconvene for teams after Thanksgiving, including students from other sports. Final team assignments for the season will then be made.

Communication 

• Information from coaches will be sent out through Email/Skyward and Sports You (once cuts are made). They also use Instagram and X. 
• The booster club will communicate via Facebook, Skyward, and Booster X account. 
• Coaches man the team accounts. Booster mans the booster accts.

Upcoming events: Homecoming (end of Sept.), All-team dinner (Early Dec.) 

Volunteers

• We do need volunteers for Homecoming. Those who signed up at the meeting will be followed up with soon with details. If you didn't make the meeting, please reach out to eaglesoccerboosterclub@gmail.com
• This year the booster club will be assigning each player’s parent 3 volunteer opportunities. This will be 2 concessions and a clock operator.
